F3 – Nicholas Latifi ready for the second round in Budapest

Just one month after the opening race in Valencia, Nicholas Latifi is ready to take part again in the Italian Formula 3 European Series.

Waiting for the event, which will take place at Budapest circuit (race dates from 4th to 6th May), the italo-canadian driver has gone on with his apprenticeship driving a Dallara 1 of the BVM-target team, dividing his job into three tracks whose features are so different : Misano, Monza and Mugello.
In these three days Nicholas has focused on car balance, testing different set up options useful for his championship. He has soon adapted to tracks and hard conditions caused by rain, succeeding in finishing the program tuned up by the staff of the team from Romagna.
Just on the Tuscan track, which will be the first venue of the Italian Formula 3 Championship on the next June 10th, the driver who comes from karting, has marked his best performance on a wet track, making a very good 2’02’’735.
Nicholas Latifi: “These three days have been so intense. I’ve soon adapted to the car on three hard tracks. The Misano track is very enjoyable and I like the mix between bends and speed so much. That track is so easy to learn even if some stretches are difficult. Monza is a very fast track, its sectors are so technical and it’s austere with brakes. I liked Mugello layout so much because it has natural ups and downs and different speed in corners. Despite rain, we’ve finished our program, even if I’d rather prefer to have more time of dry track to discover more easily the secrets of track itself, because I wish to improve my experience with car, tracks and tyres consumption. Now I’m looking forward to the race in Budapest. I like Hungaroring’s track and I can’t wait to race again to improve my performances. I want my position in standing to be better than the one in Valencia.
